Cookie policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Uxerfy uses cookies only for analytics, and only after you accept them. Nothing that tracks you is set until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, the site works exactly the same — I simply don't measure your visit.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others, like the ones here, help the owner understand how the site is used.

The cookies I use

Only if you accept, Google Analytics sets these to measure traffic. There are no advertising cookies.

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors. 2 years
_ga_<id> Google Analytics — keeps session state. 2 years

Remembering your choice

To avoid asking every time, I store your accept/decline choice in your browser's local storage under uxerfy-consent. That's not a cookie and holds no personal data — just your preference.

Change or withdraw your consent

You can change your mind at any time. This clears your saved choice and brings the banner back so you can decide again:

You can also delete cookies directly in your browser settings, and manage Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on.
