Privacy policy

What is collected, why, and for how long. Short, because not much is collected.

This text describes how this service actually works, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you need contractually reviewed wording before you buy, say so and it will be arranged.

What is collected when you order an audit

The order form asks for:

  • The URLs to be audited.
  • The page type and the reason for the audit, which decide what the report leads with.
  • Your email address, which is where the report is delivered.
  • Your name, if you give it. It is optional.
  • Any notes you write, and any access instructions you provide.

When it is stored

Nothing you type into the order form is stored until the payment clears. The form keeps your answers in your own browser (localStorage) so you can close the tab and come back; that copy never leaves your device. The order record is created by the payment webhook, after Stripe confirms the charge.

This is a design decision, not a legal one: an abandoned order leaves no data behind because there was never anywhere for it to go.

Payment data

Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach this site or its database. Uxerfy stores the Stripe session and payment identifiers, the amount, and the currency — enough to match a payment to an order and issue a refund.

Access credentials

If part of the audit sits behind a login, credentials are requested by email after payment and are not stored in the order database. Please do not put passwords into the order form.

How long it is kept

Order records and reports are kept while they are needed to deliver the work and support it afterwards, and then for as long as tax and accounting law requires the transaction record to exist.

You can ask for your order data to be deleted at any time; where a record must be retained for accounting purposes, what is kept is reduced to the transaction itself.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (G-2L8Q2Q408Q) with Consent Mode. Analytics cookies stay denied until you accept them in the banner. If you do not accept, no analytics cookies are set.

What your data is never used for

Your site, your report and anything you write in the order form are not used as training data for any model, are not sold, and are not shared with third parties beyond the processors needed to deliver the service — Stripe for payment, Resend for email, Neon for the order database, Vercel for hosting and file storage.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, or a copy of it, by emailing hello@uxerfy.com. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
