Who is behind it

About Uxerfy

Uxerfy is a small accessibility audit practice. One person reads your site, and that person is named on the report.

Who does the work

Every audit is carried out by Sergio Gualda, a product designer based in Barcelona, Spain. There is no team of reviewers behind a brand name, and there is no queue of contractors — which is why the capacity is stated publicly and why the week can be full.

That is a limitation as much as a selling point. It means turnaround depends on one calendar. It also means the person who found a barrier is the person who answers your question about it.

Why accessibility

Accessibility work has an unusual property: almost every fix makes the product better for everyone, and almost none of it is visible in a screenshot. A checkout that announces its errors properly converts better for people who can see the red text too.

The market around it, though, is full of claims that do not survive contact with a screen reader — overlay widgets that promise compliance, scanners that report a percentage, badges that certify nothing. This practice exists to do the unglamorous version: use the site, find what breaks, write down what to change.

What Uxerfy does not claim

Uxerfy does not issue conformance certifications, does not provide legal advice, and does not tell you that you are compliant. It tells you what it found, what standard it assessed against, and on what date.

There are no client logos on this site, no testimonials and no customer count — not as a design choice, but because inventing them is the easiest lie in this industry and the hardest to walk back.
