Accessibility statement

This is the statement for uxerfy.com itself. A site that sells accessibility auditing should be willing to publish its own, including the parts that are not finished.

Conformance status

This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It has been self-assessed, which is a weaker claim than an independent audit and is stated as such.

No conformance is certified. Uxerfy does not issue certifications for anyone, and would not make an exception for itself.

What has been tested

Every page template has been checked for the following, by hand:

  • Complete keyboard operation, including the four-step order flow
  • A visible focus indicator on every interactive element, on every background it appears against
  • A skip link, landmarks, and a heading structure that reads as an outline
  • Form labels programmatically associated, errors announced and tied to their field, and focus moved to the first field in error
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, and controls at least 3:1
  • No information conveyed by colour alone — severity, step state and status all carry text
  • Reflow to one column at 320px, and at 400% zoom
  • Reduced motion honoured: every transition collapses when prefers-reduced-motion is set
  • Language declared on the document, and on the Spanish passage of the bilingual 404

Known limitations

The order flow requires JavaScript to calculate the total and create the payment. Without it the form states this and gives an email address for ordering by hand. This is a genuine limitation, not a preference — and it is written here rather than left to be discovered.

Screen reader testing has been carried out with VoiceOver on macOS. It has not been tested with JAWS or NVDA on Windows, which behave differently in places.

This site has not been audited by an independent third party.
